Ensure the environmental, health and technical benefits of stainless steel are widely known and understood downstream users and consumers (via Euro-Inox)
Ensure that relevant health and environment facts are widely known and understood within the stainless steel industry
Ensure that these facts are available for regulators, politicians and NGOs, as necessary, in a timely and appropriate form
Ensure regulators, politicians and NGOs understand the merits of, and opportunities for, stainless steels in a sustainable society
Promote the interests of stainless steel in all relevant activities within Eurofer
Take an active role in climate change, energy efficiency and related research initiatives
Gather, collate and disseminate market information, raw material data and statistics relevant to the stainless steel industry
Gather and prepare basic information needed to document offensive trade cases (Anti-Dumping and Anti-Subsidy), coordinate and act as interface between complainants, law firms and DG Trade, represent the Community industry and organise lobbying
Promote free access to raw materials sources for stainless steel industry and coordinate position of consumers on trade cases concerning raw materials (alloys)
